My intention for all the introductory workshops I do the first half of the year is to fill a Level One class, June 10-15, 2020, in Columbus. Gail Stewart is an instructor that Dr. Trager personally trained, so you will have as close to first-hand teaching as it gets! Gail is a gem, and makes every training memorable. She has a way of inviting spaciousness in our inner and outer environment.

Lay persons are invited to attend all introductory workshops, and you will learn to apply the movement explorations to your own daily self care….AND I will also be sharing how to use this simple and unique approach for those already in practice in another discipline. Elongation, rocking, integration, and using movement to heighten our own presence will be demonstrated and practiced. Integration of the body/mind is the hallmark of each session. As a practitioner, I can say I receive a session every time I give one, and that my daily presence and peace has been forever affected by Milton’s vision to “create peace in the world, one person at a time”.

This training is for all, but specifically for massage therapists, medical practitioners and professional body workers. Your self care is a priority, the Trager is the best self-care model out there!

You will learn to:

  • Preserve your energy

  • Increase effectiveness

  • Get a session while you give one

  • Self care and self healing

  • Determine if you want to add this approach to your practice

  • Learn things you can use immediately with your clients

  • Develop your own Mentastics: Mindfulness in Movement,  as a self care skill

This introductory workshop will partially meet the prerequisites for the beginning level one training in Ohio, June 10-15.  (You will need a session and a recommendation from a practitioner to be in the training as well). Please be a copycat!
