Nitric Oxide

I recently had a negative response to a supplement recommended to me called Arginine. Apparently, Herpes Simplex (a virus that causes cold sores and shingles) thrives on Arginine. I had a break our of cold sores, so I stopped it immediately. I was using it to increase nitric acid to allay muscle cramps in my legs. You may want to look at your dietary supplements, it was in 2 other ones I was taking. I stopped the intake and cleared up my mouth sores within 24 hours.

Arginine is an amino acid that the body converts into nitric oxide (NO), a neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and improves circulation. This means increasing energy production at the cellular level. NO also plays a role in cellular function and how the body responds to insulin. We need NO to be healthy.

If you are low on energy, rather than take a supplement, perhaps you could add a few of these foods to your diet, and see if it helps. Food is medicine!
