Experience Your Experience!

This is just another way of saying “ be here now!”. I like the word “Experience” because it denotes action. If you have a hard time doing nothing, then experience this:

1) Attend to self

2) Honor your body and your body’s messages

3) Nurture yourself with good food, friends and family activities (virtual or other)

4) Cultivate gratitude and compassion for others, those you know and those you don’t

In this chaordic (chaos and order) time, those of us that are finding calmness in being at home, we are the anchors for the chaos. The balancing point for all the un-truths/half truths and even the truth, is whatever that means to us. Our own truth is the only one that is really true. The rest are others’ truths. We can agree with them, but everyone has their own spin on truth. related to their life experience..

Fake news is truth to someone! If you tell yourself something repetitively, it becomes truth for you. That could be something either positive or negative. Choose whether you want to have a positive or negative experience in this moment. Then fully experience it! Use all your senses! Wehn you are outside, notice the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and sensations on your skin…that is truth.

““The good thing about science is that it’s true whether or not you believe in it.””

— Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Astrophysicist

In his Master Class, he talks about this in terms of what is happening in politics now and the information about the Corona Virus as well…Many decisions are not based on science. They are based on economic interests. This is not the world I want to live in. I will decide for myself, from facts, and from my personal experience. It is true we live in a complex world. How can we simplify? Become still, and experience gratitude for what you have in this moment. That is how to experience your experience. It is a practice!
