Trager H2O

She lies, floating in the cool water, her head on my shoulder while I stand behind her. Her body is totally relaxed. My hands support her low back. Slowly, I begin to shift my weight from left to light, making sure my body is supported. The water offers gentle resistance, the sensations heightened by movement. We sway together for about 4-5 mins, then pause. Slowly she finds her feet, and settles into her own weight.

There is something about weightlessness and floating that allows us to fully embody presence. Having a session of Trager in the water deepens our connection to ourselves. We can find this feeling without water, daily, as we tap into our limbs as we walk, move or dance. Feeling our way to peace.
